wireless security systems

My husband is interested of getting wireless security systems inside our house. Well, I am not really interested of this new device because this one will add to our monthly expenses. But he said, according to the mortgage adviser, it is a good idea to have one for security purposes and to avoid raising our mortgage insurance. We will see if we can afford it though.
