Canal Dip

When I was a child, I used to play with neighbor's kids almost everyday. One time, while we were chasing in the streets, my foot accidentally tripped on one side of an open canal along the street. I was out balanced and fell and swam down in the dirty watery canal full of black soothed dirt. My nanny "rescued" and pulled me out from the dirty canal and brought me inside the house and bathed me in the bathroom.

Best Picture

No, this is not a movie that won for a best picture. They are about photographs that you have and had in your lifetime that you thought it to be your best picture ever. Well, the best picture would be one with you and your love ones, where you look pretty, beautiful and handsome, ones taken on your memorable events in your life. But one thing, the best picture you have is one where in the picture you look your very best regardless of the event it was taken.

Tuition Fee Increase

Every opening of classes, parents are worried how to pay the ever rising tuition fees. These fees annually go up that parents find it hard to meet the increase. And, it¢s here again. News had been spreading out that schools will increase their tuition fees and the poor parents are in a quandary if they can still send their children to school. With the soaring prices of almost all commodities, in whose hands can we get the money to send our children to school? No wage hike was given and so we only try to budget the money that we have. How about the schooling?

Child Pornography

As everybody knows, children are our future and they deserve the best that we can give. However, there are parents who allow their child to star in porn videos. They just close their eyes and say that they are poor. Being poor is not an excuse to exploit their children for how can we respect parents who do not work and let their children do the work? These parents should be stripped of their authority over their children and in return give these children to families who can take care of them and give them the right moral value.

Empire of The Ants

A big ship threw tons of big barrels down the sea, its waste contents harmful to man. One barrel leaked and rolled down to a nearby deserted island, where animals lived. One ant happen to eat the substance and all other ants followed who grew into humongous giant sizes that later became harmful and devoured people who got stranded in that island. The moral of this story is we should be responsible of the wastes we dispose as they may later be the ones that will harm us. And by the way, the title of this movie I wont forget was, "Empire of The Ants."

Family Disco

No, our family don't own a disco. But one time, me and my brothers, sisters and our house helper went disco dancing. Our helper loves dancing. We went to the disco house all dressed in disco outfits. Our helper danced gleefully to the tune of her favorite disco music. Suddenly, she was nowhere to be found, because her high heel shoes was thrown while she was dancing. She crawled down the floors passing other
people's feet just to find her lost Cinderella pair shoes. She couldn't find them not until closing hours when the hall was empty. We went home laughing because of our house helps lost shoes. That night she was the butt of our laughter.

The Cake Maker

Our neighbor, a physician's wife had a cake business long time ago. Baking was her hobby. Upon entering her kitchen, sweet smelling cakes of different sizes and colors greets you. Her cake business lasted for years. She's among the few in my city at that time who sold cakes commercially when I was a small child and when Goldilocks, Red Ribbons and Cinnabons were never heard of yet back then.
