Finders Keepers!

Many years back, my brother once left his shoe bag in a public untility jitney—the most popular and the major means of transportation in the Philippines . My brother was so worried then because he knew that there could only be about ten percent probability that his bag will be returned. The reason for that mentality is that, Filipinos has this “Finders Keepers”/ “The bearer is the owner” attitude. And I am forunate that I was taught not to have that attitude. I really despise that attitude and I promised myself that my kids won’t grow up having that kind of attitude.
