No extended wear from Contact lenses

Contact lens users should not keep their lenses in their eyes over night, even if they are of the long wear kind. The danger is with ulcerative keratitis, ulceration and inflammation of the cornea. And to those who use extended wear soft lenses and leave them in the eyes overnight are 10 t0 15 times more likely to develop ulcerative keratitis than those who take out their lenses each night. The risk goes up for each day the lens is left in the eye.
