White Beach

My dad grew up and lived part of his life in a small town called, Medina, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It was and its still is a sleepy town until now. In that town is found a white sand beach called White Beach. My parents used to bring me and my siblings to that town to witness the towns feast day which falls every summer. We then go to the white beach where the sand is immaculately white and its pebbles and corrals, pearly and slimy, there were no cottages back then. We would go down the beach, swim for hours in its cold blue crystal clear waters and tried catching smallest fishes. That was forty years ago but now the Medina's heavenly white sand beaches is already "raped", raped by the people who had the place too commercialized.
