Money From Tilanggit

Tilanggit comes from the names of two kinds of fishes “tilapiang danggit” which means tilapia prepared like danggit. Boneless danggit whose English name is rabbit fish and well known in Visayas , Philippines is a high value food selling at high prices. Young tilapias are split open and the entrails removed. The large bone is also extracted while the fins are clipped. Wash the fish and then dry under the sun for three days or till they become brittle dry.
